Where to see your numbers

On the Inbound agent page, How buyers reach you shows your numbers. Put them wherever buyers reach out: your website, hoardings, listings and brochures.

How buyers reach you
  1. WhatsApp: the number buyers message, and whether the agent answers it (Answered by the agent) or only the reception line does (Inbound is off).
  2. Phone calls: every phone number buyers can call.
  3. The switch for whether the agent answers phone calls. See below.

How numbers are assigned

Your KonvoLead admin assigns your phone numbers, and a WhatsApp number unless you use your own. You can't pick or claim one yourself. Until one is assigned, the card says so. For WhatsApp: "No number yet. Your KonvoLead admin assigns one, and it appears here." For calls: "No phone number yet."

You can also connect your business's own WhatsApp number yourself, through Meta. See Connecting your own WhatsApp number.

Getting a phone number

  1. Under Phone calls, turn on the switch (it reads Agent doesn't answer while off).
  2. That asks for a number. The card says "You've asked for a phone number. Your KonvoLead admin assigns it, and the agent answers calls from then on."
  3. When the number is assigned, it appears under Phone calls and the agent starts answering calls to it. You don't need to do anything else.

Until a phone number is assigned to you, campaign calls wait: none is placed, and none of a lead's tries is used up. They start as soon as the number is assigned. See Phone numbers and caller ID.

Whether the agent answers calls

With the switch on, the agent answers calls to your numbers (once Inbound is on). With it off:

  • People a live campaign has called still reach the agent when they ring back. On a call-script campaign they hear "Thanks for calling back" and that someone will be in touch, and your team is paged.
  • Anyone else hears that someone will call them back, and your team is paged.

What callers hear first

With calls on, What callers hear first sets the agent's opening line on a call someone makes to you. Leave it blank for the standard greeting, which thanks them for calling and asks how the agent can help. It is spoken in the caller's language when we know it, otherwise in your calls' default language. Click Save greeting after a change.

Several phone numbers

You can have more than one phone number.

  • Buyers can call any of them and reach the same agent.
  • The one marked "Your outgoing calls start from this number" is the number a lead sees on the first try. Retries take turns on your other numbers.
  • A number marked Out of service no longer takes calls. Ask your KonvoLead contact if you think that is wrong.
